Built during the 18th century, The Hole in The Wall was originally known as the Board Inn. It was extensively renovated in the 1980s, when the name was changed, but it still retains some original features.
Despite the somewhat dull brick exterior, inside you’ll find a very traditional style pub with low beamed ceilings and plenty of dark wood on display. Like many York pubs there is an increasing focus on food and promotional offers are available throughout the week.
