Small tapas restaurant and sherry bar on Goodramgate, round the corner from the Minster. Spread over two floors of a Grade II listed building, Ambiente is an intimate little restaurant combines tasteful décor with even tastier food. If sherry is your thing – or if you fancy trying some – they can recommend a glass to accompany whatever you’re eating. If you’re a bigger group or can’t get a table they have another larger restaurant on Fossgate.
